CBPB ТАМАК is an ecologically sound material. The main binder is cement and therefore cement-bonded particle boards do not contain dangerous phenol and formaldehyde bonding substances, asbestos and other poisonous stuff.
CBPB TAMAK are made by pressing moulded mixture, consisting of coniferous wood chips, Portland cement, mineral substance and water.

A plate is a hard monolith material. Emitting of dust, gas or vapour from the plates is impossible in connection with mineralization of contained substances and applied technology of production.
Cement-bonded particle board is referred to the group of substances which are difficult to ignite and do not spread fire. Being exposed to fire the boards do not emit toxic gases and vapour.

CBPB ТАМАК is first of all a constructional material that gives hardness to frame constructions. During the process of production a cement-bonded particle carpet is formed out of four layers: exterior layers of small-sized, interior – out of bigger chip fractions. Then the carpet is subjected to pressing.

It is worthwhile mentioning one more property – a possibility to use building constructions with CBPB trimming in earthquake-prone zones and buildings with a big number of storeys.
After the earthquake in Spitak (Armenia) in December 1988 TsNIISK conducted all kinds of research concerning the experience of erecting wooden panel houses in earthquake-prone zones. TsNIISK worked out a construction of a strengthened load-bearing panel on a wooden frame using trimmings out of CBPB and also the methods of connecting it with a foundation. Principal construction is applied until now. When building multi-storey houses ТАМАК in Krasnodar kray such kind of earthquake-prone constructions passed non-departmental expertise and an expertise of TsNIISK named after Kucherenko successfully.
CBPB are mostly used for trimming panels with a wooden frame in low-storey house building (fig. 5). The plates not only enhance wooden frames with additional stiffness, but also serve as defense from atmospheric actions. Bearing and fencing constructions of a house with CBPB trimming because of their smooth surface do not demand additional treatment. That is why for outer house trimming exterior wall surfaces are just enough to be painted.

CBPB ТАМАК sustains fungus, pruners, gnawing animal action. It is important to notice that this biostability is achieved not due to including as a component of CBPB some special antiseptic agents and not due to surface treatment with antiseptic agent. Antiseptic is formed in the mass of CBPB itself in the process of turning cement into concrete, because an additional product of this process is calcium hydroxide that makes strongly alkaline media preventing growth of fungus.
Frost resistance is one of serious advantages of CBPB, expending the use geography.
Thus, specified value of flexural strength reduction after 50 cycles does not exceed 10%. As a matter of practice an indicator of these values is lower. Long experience of use of constructions with CBPB in the building of different destination in Yakutia, Khanty-Mansisk proved high exploitation properties of the material.
