GERMAN TECHNOLOGY HAVING BEEN USED IN RUSSIA AND IN THE CIS FOR 30 YEARS

TAMAK is a large wood-processing and house-building enterprise with 100% of its capital belonging to Austrian firms. It is situated in the suburbs of Tambov. Since 1986 TAMAK has been producing and constructing fast-erected kits of panel timber frame houses and buildings using German technology.

In 1984-1988 TAMAKs construction department together with the leading domestic research institutes such as the Kucherenko Central Reseach Institute of Building Structures, the Research and Project Institute Nauchstandart, the Central Research Experimental Project Institute Selstroy worked out the 231st series of houses specially designed for Russian conditions.

The service life cycle of the houses is not less than 75 years.


GEOGRAPHY OF CONSTRUCTION

More than 1 000 000 m2 of housing have been built in regions with different climatic and seismic conditions: from Krasnodar Krai to Murmansk, from Kaliningrad to Hanti-Mansiysk as well as in Switzerland, Germany, France, Iran, Turkey, and the CIS.

TAMAKs house structures are designed for service under different climate conditions with the temperature range from -50 up to + 50 and the value of seismic intensity from 6 to 9.

In Germany insurance companies estimate the service life cycle of a panel timber frame house, the same as of a brick one, at 100 years. These are the main advantages of this type of houses:
1 Structures are produced from dry timber under plant conditions;
2 Walls, floor slabs, gables, frame elements are sent to the construction site ready-made;
3 Assembly at the manufacturing area makes the installation fast and reduces the risk of any mistakes at the construction site.

CEMENT-BONDED PARTICLE BOARD

Cement-bonded particle board TAMAK is a durable, ecologically safe, moisture, frost, and fire resistant material having been used in construction, reconstruction and repair work for 30 years.


FRAMEWORK ELEMENTS

The framework is made of fir coming from the Urals or Siberia. Timber undergoes strict control when it comes to the manufacturing area, automatic grading, sorting, and drying under technical conditions.
Dry timber is not subjected to rot in the manufactured structures.


INSULATOR

The fire-resistant basalt mineral wool insulator Isoroc used in wall panels has the necessary density (60kg/m3) and stiffness to prevent its sinking.

For northern regions the total thickness of the external wall insulation is not less than 200mm.

The structure of the forced load-bearing panel and methods of its joint with the basement developed together with the Kucherenko Central Reseach Institute of Building Structures were successfully used by the company TAMAK while constructing houses and multipurpose buildings in Sakhalin, Kazakhstan, Krasnodar Krai, South Ossetia and other regions of high seismic hazard.


ECOLOGICAL SAFETY

All the house structure elements are made of natural materials timber and cement, and the insulator is made of gabbro-basalt geological materials. Our structures have been regularly tested and certified by authoritative research institutes in the last 30 years.

Cement-bonded particle board TAMAK is an ecologically sound material. The main binder is cement and therefore cement-bonded particle boards do not contain dangerous phenol and formaldehyde bonding substances, asbestos and other poisonous stuff. FIRE SAFETY

Panel timber frame structures are referred to fire resistance class IV (building structure fire hazard class C2 (hereinafter - national standards)). If special measures are taken the fire resistance of the structures can be raised to class III (REI60, building structure fire hazard class C0) that makes it possible to construct houses and buildings up to 3 levels and provide that the minimum space between the houses is 6m.

Fire Safety-1

Cement-bonded particle board is referred to the group of substances which are difficult to ignite and do not spread fire. Mineral wool plate goes to the group of noncombustible materials and prevents fire from spreading. Being exposed to fire the house structures do not emit toxic gases and vapour.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND HEAT INSULATION

Energy efficiency characteristics of a house TAMAK allow cutting expenses on heating and conditioning.

Heating a typical panel timber frame house TAMAK takes 2.5 times less gas than heating a masonry one of the same size.

POSSIBILITY TO CONSTRUCT IN ANY REGION

House installation and all the package of construction works are carried out by the authorized dealers of the CJSC TAMAK.

If there are no building companies certified by the plant in your region you can either choose any of TAMAKs dealers or hire some local builders to work under the supervision of a chief-engineer of the company.

House construction is carried out by building companies certified by TAMAK. Besides, our company systematically supervises the construction work.
